India was all over the news a few months ago, because of the devastating second wave of covid-19. For two months the Servants team, with the help of their neighbours and local literacy teachers, devoted themselves to distributing food rations to people with no income. But what is happening now? How have people managed to rebuild their lives after such disruption? Are they able to work and earn again, or how are the poor getting by?

With reduced covid-19 cases, most hospitals are able to treat other patients again. For example, you can read Tarkeshwar’s Tale, about how our team helped a man on the street get medical treatment, and find his way home.

Maybe you’ve read these stories, and have more questions! Unfortunately the borders aren’t open so you can’t visit in person. Instead, please join us for a virtual visit with Yusuf* (name changed) – no hand sanitizer, vaccines or fever-checks needed.
