Seminar: A Blessed Response
Partnering with Urban Poor Communities affected by the Pandemic
While the West continues its transition out of COVID restrictions, many urban poor communities in Asia face unique challenges in dealing with the impacts of the pandemic. Yet in the midst of intense hardship, people are finding powerful ways to care for one another. God is on the move. What does that look like? And how can we partner with what Jesus is doing amongst the poor? Hear stories of struggle and hope, from the slums of north India to the barrios of Manila. As Jesus proclaimed at Nazareth, the Gospel is good news to the poor (Lk. 4:18). In God’s kingdom, the poor are blessed (Lk. 6:20) and those in need become those through whom Christ is revealed to us (Mt. 25:40-45). In that spirit, this seminar seeks to bear witness to the realities of the urban poor and invite participants to see Christ’s presence in their midst.
This is a great learning opportunity for anyone interested in mission work amongst the urban poor and in slums. For a (USD) $10 fee, anyone can join in the seminar or access it up to a month after the conference. Use the buttons below, to see conference details and register:
