Forum 2024: Payment Options
We are eager to make this Forum as accessible as possible to all, regardless of ability to pay. In order for cost not to be a barrier to anyone wanting to come to Forum, we have set a small flat fee of US$20 per person for the whole forum, regardless of how many nights you stay (the whole Forum is 4 nights), where you are coming from, and what type of accommodation you choose. If contributing even that amount would still be a genuine barrier, you’re welcome to get in touch with us for further financial support. Of course, this very low price doesn’t cover anywhere near the full price of Forum, so if you have capacity, click on the ‘Optional Extra Donation’ button below for more information about how to pay as generously as you are able.
All payments will be processed via PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can still pay “via PayPal” using a credit or debit card.

Our payment software works best with Google Chrome, Firefox on Windows and Microsoft Edge . If the shopping bag icon or PayPal payment button doesn’t appear in your browser, try a different browser.
For accommodation, enter the names of the people that you are paying for. In the quantity field, enter the number of people. The quantity should match the number of names that you enter. Click on “Buy Now” when you have entered the correct data.
Additionally, if you want to help subsidize the cost of Forum 2024, read the invitation below. To donate, adjust the quantity of your donation in multiples of US$10. For example, a quantity of 10 will make a donation of $100. Click on “Buy Now” when you’re done.
After clicking on either (or both) “Buy Now” buttons, you can go to the checkout page by clicking on the shopping bag in the white circle that should be in the bottom right corner of the web page. Here you can change any quantities if necessary, enter your personal info and click on the “Pay with PayPal” button to make your payment. You can use a different email address to log into PayPal if your PayPal account is under a different email address.
An Invitation to help subside Forum 2024
FYI, the full cost of Forum is:
- For a family air-conditioned room: $46 USD per person per day, so $184 for four days (2550 Philipino peso daily)
- For a bed in a non-AC dorm room that fits 10 people: $29 USD per person per day, so $115 for four days (1600 Philipino peso daily )
This means that, on average, the cost is $37 per day per person. Assuming 80 people attend Forum, half in AC rooms and half in the dorms, that would be a total cost of $11,900 for the 4 days. The $20 flat fee would only bring in $US1,600. While we’re taking the risk of needing to take a significant chunk from Vision Fund to cover any shortfall, we do this in faith that those who have abundant resources may contribute more. 🤗
So our request to all who have capacity, (even if you can’t come to Forum at all), is to consider giving generously (without resentment) above the $20 flat fee. You can enter the amount you can provide here. The more those of us with financial capacity are able to subside Forum, the less we will need to use Vision Fund reserves. Thanks!
