Carol, Myra and Eunice have each have plenty to share with us, about their recent time in the Philippines, readjustment to life in Phnom Penh, and hopes and plans for 2025.

India :: 8th March

Unlike a reported 420 million others, our team in India has stayed safely away from the Kumbh Mela. However the team has certainly been on the move in other directions – Delhi, Agra, Kerala and Bhopal in India, as well as some time in Australia.

Life has now returned to “normal” in India – about the usual level of visitors, unexpected events, crises and daily rhythms. Please join the team online to catch up on recent adventures, and hear about hopes and plans for coming months.

Recent happenings include
  • too many funerals
  • wonderful holiday and retreat time, to close off 2024 and prepare for 2025 (in Kerala, south India)
  • three new patients with drug-resistant TB, which means more medicines and much longer treatment. (Two of them are teenage girls who are very seriously sick)
  • beginning the search for an India co-leader of the local project work, to help it become less reliant on the presence of foreigners
