Prayer Partners

The members and ministries of Servants need your support in prayer.

“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ…Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should.”   ~ Colossians 4:2-4

Prayer and Mission are bound together in the teaching and ministry of Jesus.  In Jesus’ great sermon on mission in Matthew 10 he tells His disciples that the harvest is plentiful but that the laborers are few. To deal with the lack of workers, Jesus does not direct his followers to plan a recruitment campaign. Instead, he commands His disciples to pray that the Lord of the harvest will send forth laborers into the fields.

When God sends out workers into the harvest it will cause His will to be done in more and more places on the earth.  What is at stake is nothing less than the centrality of the name of God on the earth. Above all else, that must be our first focus in prayer.

Would you be willing to join us in prayer for more workers to go to the slums of the world, where more than 1 billion people live – the largest unreached people group on earth today. Would you also join us in prayers of thanksgiving.  We have a lot to be thankful for and a lot to keep us in a posture of total dependence on the grace of Jesus. And finally would you join us in prayer for the wisdom and resources we need to serve God in some of the most difficult places in the world.  Places of poverty, sadness, oppression and death.  We believe that prayer changes lives and transforms communities.  But we need your support in this area.
