Last week, more than 150 Servants workers, friends and supporters gathered together in Thailand to celebrate 25 years of mission amongst the urban poor.

Attendees came from all over the world, including some of our Asian co-workers from Cambodia, Philippines, and India.

Highlights included morning devotional sessions from Charles Ringma, keynote addresses from Melba Maggay, CB Samuel, Craig Greenfield, Dave Andrews and Viv Grigg, as well as worship led by Luke Pilkington.

Participants also enjoyed attending workshops on a variety of topics such as Intentional Communities in the West, Spirituality and Leadership, Language Learning, Families in the slums, Simple Lifestyles, Church Planting, etc.

An early morning sunrise service on the beach marked Easter Sunday with a shared breakfast of fish and fresh coconut juice.

The overall sense was one of new growth and excitement at what God is doing: 13 new workers have joined Servants teams to work amongst the urban poor in the past 8 months and new teams are being formed for new cities.
